Operadora Hotelera de Cozumel, SA de CV. (hereinafter referred to as OHCSA), located at Carretera a San Juan Km. 4, Zona Hotelera Norte, CP 77600, Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico, is committed to protecting your privacy. The OHCSA Personal Data Department oversees all identity, privacy and data protection issues and is located at the same address as its headquarters. B. Personal Data
For the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, OHCSA may collect personal information in a number of ways: when you provide information directly to OHCSA, when you visit the OHCSA website, when you use online services provided by OHCSA, and when OHCSA collects information from you in other ways permitted by law.

Personal data obtained through OHCSA through these means include:

Identifying information: Your first and last name, address, telephone number, mobile number and/or work phone, marital status, signature, email, gender, age, date of birth, username and password.
Financial information: Card holder’s name, card number and expiry date (for online transactions).
Billing information: Name or company name, tax number and tax domicile.
Data group: Data relating to room, service and travel preferences.

C. Sensitive Personal Data
Personal data is classified as sensitive if it relates to an individual and its misuse could potentially lead to discrimination or pose a risk of discrimination. Specifically, any information that could reveal potentially sensitive matters, racial or ethnic origin, present and future health, genetic information, religious, philosophical or moral beliefs, trade union membership, political opinions and sexual preferences. If you provide us with information about your health or disability during your stay at our hotel, this information will only be used to better serve you and meet your specific needs.

D. Use and Purpose of Personal Data
Cases where the personal data is required by law for the OHCSA to provide a service:

OHCSA uses the personal information you provide to perform or provide the services you have requested or that are part of a programme for which you have registered. This may include making bookings, purchasing holiday packages, becoming a member of OHCSA loyalty programmes, attending events or social gatherings, or purchasing goods and/or tour and travel related services.

OHCSA may use the personal information you provide to provide you with a better service and, where appropriate, to identify your preferences during your stay in order to make it more enjoyable. Cases where personal information is not required for OHCSA to provide a service:

OHCSA may also use your information to provide you with promotions, tourism and consumer products, special services, newsletters, surveys, sweepstakes and contests.

E. Limitations on the Use or Disclosure of Personal Data
You may request at any time that your personal information not be used for purposes other than those legally required for OHCSA to provide a service to you. You must send this request in writing to the OHCSA Personal Data Department at the following address: Carretera a San Juan Km. 4, Zona Hotelera Norte, 77600 CP, Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico or by email to datospersonales@playa-azul.com. Requests in writing and will be delivered between 9 am and 2 pm, Monday to Friday.

Requests must include at least the following information: (i) Name of the personal data subject. (ii) Email address for a confirmation message. (iii) Documents proving your identity or that you are the data subject’s legal representative. (iv) Clear and concise description of the personal data in question and the action requested. (V) Any other element or document that facilitates the request or location of your personal data. If the request does not meet any of these requirements, the Personal Data Department may respond within five days of your request and ask you to provide the necessary information or documentation. In this case, you will have ten days to provide the necessary information or documents. If you do not provide the missing items within this time period, no further action will be taken and no changes will be made to your personal information or how it is used.

Once OHCSA has received a request containing all the necessary elements, it will make a decision and respond within 20 days. If OHCSA confirms that the requested change to the use of personal information will be made, the change will take effect 15 days after OHCSA sends you an e-mail confirming the change. In order to protect your privacy, OHCSA will send its response to the email address provided in your request, and will make all details available to you during normal business hours at the address listed above.

F. Rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition with respect to the information you have provided to OHCSA, in accordance with the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data of Individuals. You may exercise these rights by submitting a request to OHCSA, following the steps described in section E above. OHCSA will respond as described above.

G. Control and Security of Personal Data
OHCSA is committed to taking the necessary precautions to protect the information it collects by using security technologies and procedures to limit access, use or disclosure of personal information without consent. For example, the personal information you provide is stored on servers in secure data centres with limited access. For online transactions, OHCSA also uses security technologies to protect information that is transmitted electronically, such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL). However, no security system or data transmission device over which OHCSA has no control or which is dependent on the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure

H. Electronic Media and Cookies
